Designing an experiential environment for a national tourism trade show
Project Details
Context Rendez-Vous Canada is the country’s largest annual travel trade show, bringing together international tourism partners and Canadian destinations. For this edition, the Yukon Government Tourism Department required a 100 m² booth designed to stand out within a highly competitive environment while supporting meetings, networking, and brand visibility.
Challenge Translate Yukon’s identity into a spatial experience that balances strong visual impact with functional requirements — creating a space that supports both storytelling and business interactions.
Approach The direction focused on translating the territory into an immersive environment rather than a traditional booth. Natural references were structured into spatial zones to support different types of interaction, from informal exchanges to private meetings. Environmental elements and lighting were used to create atmosphere while maintaining clarity and usability across the space. The system was designed to align brand, space, and visitor experience into a cohesive whole.

Outcome
